This is in honour of the river Yamuna. Shrinathji is dressed in a whit adbandha, a light dress reaching from the waist to the knees, a white pagha and pearls. The pichhvai is white. Toy ducks made of cotton are flooded with water, and lotuses, toy fishes, turtles and boats are set afloat in it. Goswamis swim and frolic, imagining that they are gopis participation in jalakrida, water sports, with Shrinathji.
A pada from the Gita Govinda is sung describing Krishna's water sports in the river Yamuna:
In wooda on the windswept Yamuna banks Krishna waits in wild-flower farlands
He cherishes breeze-blown pollen that touched your fragile body.
