Originally a festival of Rajasthan, celebrated by women of princely houses, here this festival is dedicated to Shri Radha. Shrinathji wears a turban made from a chunri and pichhoda. The wooden hindola has mirrors embedded in it. The painted pichhvai shows dark monsoon clouds, rain and streaks of lightining. a frightened Radha is seen rushing towards Shrinathji to take shelter beneath His shawl while cowherds lood on.

Today during sandhya the lord resides in a mirrored hindola Also walls are decorated with cloth paintings depicting, naradgam, dwadas nikunj, giriraj swinging shyam shejama, nawneet priyaji with nand yashoda etc. And a chandova with dark clouds which surrownd. “ saudamini” is an astonishing thing to see in shayam he is offered kach ka bungla.
