SHRI MAHAPRABHUJI'S BAITHAKJI AT TOTADRI PARVAT (GUPT BAITHAKJI)
30 KM AHEAD FROM TENEVELI VILLAGE ON TOTADRI PARVAT (TAMIL NADU)
Here in the middle of a wild jungle Shri Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya made camp. When Krishnadas Meghan mentioned that there was no water nearby, the guru explained that “Near to that Kadam tree on its south side is a large rock. Under it is a large lake filled with fresh water. After the lake was discovered it was named Vallabh lake.
The Mayavadians there coming to know of Shri Mahaprabhuji’s arrival sent to people to investigate the situation. When they asked Shri Mahaprabhuji where he expected to find water in such a dry place, Krishnadas showed them the newly discovered lake. Later, the rest of the Mayavadians arrived there and seeing the lake thought, “We have lived here a long time and never knew about this lake. Shri Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya must be a spark of the original Godhead.”
They prayed to become disciples. Everyone present there experienced divine joy. After some days, Shri Mahaprabhuji proceeded onwoards with a few disciples while the other returned to their homes.
